Our client is a renowned asset management firm serving clients across the nation. They are currently searching for an experienced Senior Client Service Associate to support a team of Portfolio Managers. The ideal candidate will bring previous experience in the investment industry, a strong knowledge of mutual funds practices, and a passion for providing exceptional client and administrative support in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Vancouver, BC

Expected Salary Range: $55,000 - 65,000 per year, commensurate with experience and skillset

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and experience to new and existing clients, responding to their requests and questions on a timely basis.
  • Own the client relationship and onboarding process.
  • Communicate and work effectively with Portfolio Managers and Associates.
  • Assist in the production, mailing and tracking of quarterly reports and other marketing materials.
  • Ensure accurate and timely administration of client account openings and closings.
  • Administer client Registered Plan contributions, payments, transfers and withdrawals.
  • Ensure proper settlement and delivery for pending plan transfers.
  • Manage internal system for daily task management and client record-keeping.
  • Alongside day-to-day tasks, help deliver project work that arise.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or an equivalent discipline
  • 3+ years of experience directly supporting Portfolio Managers
  • Successful completion of Canadian Securities Course
  • In depth experience and knowledge of the administration of registered plans such as RRSPs, RRIFs, LIFs, TFSAs TFSPs etc. (required)
  • Accounting or bookkeeping background is considered an asset
  • Experience using Salesforce is an asset
  • Extensive Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience including formatting, charting, importing charts and pictures
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Clear communication both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
