Akkodis is seeking a HashiCorp Developer for a Contract position with a client in Toronto, ON (Hybrid). Ideally, the successful candidate will have strong hands-on development experience with HashiCorp Terraform Enterprise/Cloud, specifically with creating modules using HCL, and Hands-on keyboard developers who can write code, modules, and policies, and Policy-as-Code development for OPA. The preferred candidate for large Canadian Banking/Financial Enterprise clients.

Contract

Must Have Skills

1) 5+ years relevant IT work experience

2) 3+ years of experience in cloud platform/components/services development

3) Strong recent hands-on development experience with HashiCorp Terraform Enterprise/Cloud, specifically with creating modules using HCL

4) Proven experience in cloud development (Microsoft Azure - preferred)

5) Experience with Policy-as-Code development for OPA (Rego)

6) Experience with VCS tools such as GitHub

Nice-To-Have Skills:

1) Experience with Azure DevOps, software release processes, CI/CD processes, and tools such as Jenkins

2) Experience with Configuration Management tools such as Ansible and Salt

3) Knowledge of software design patterns, infrastructure architecture, DevOps, and security considerations

4) Finance/banking experience

Additional Note:-

- Articulate what Terraform work they've done and what policy work they've done

- Seeing used Terraform policies - need devs who have created/written modules in Terraform

- Need someone who can work on the modules and the code, someone who works directly with the code

- The team has a dual focus in both Azure and GCP, Azure is preferred
