Title: Medical Content Strategist

Status: 6+ months to fulltime, 40 hours per week

Rate: $55-62 per hour

Position Overview

Intermediate resource who understands medical studies and how to craft messaging that is brand and regulatory compliant and referenceable from medical studies. You will serve as the key medical expert, translating complex data into compelling, accurate, and impactful messaging for healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders. You will need to have expertise with FDA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that align with organizational goals and audience needs.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce high-quality medical content for various platforms.
  • Conduct audience analysis to tailor content effectively and improve engagement.
  • Ensure all content complies with regulatory standards and guidelines in the healthcare industry.
  • Utilize SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and reach.
  • Analyze data related to content performance and engagement to inform future strategies.
  • Manage and oversee digital marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns, to promote medical content.
  • Conduct thorough research to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and scientifically sound.
  • Write and edit copy for various formats, including articles, blogs, and social media posts.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD) in a relevant scientific or medical field.
  • 2- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably within a promotional healthcare advertising agency or medical communications setting
  • Proven ability to distill complex science into impactful messaging for promotional use
