Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Feroot is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic Go-to-Market (GTM) team. This role focuses on achieving lead generation objectives through proactive outbound email and phone campaigns. You will generate and qualify leads, book meetings, transfer qualified prospects to the sales team via CRM tools, ensuring a smooth transition, and help create, manage, and optimize workflows.
Job Description:
You will leverage your business development skills and cutting-edge AI and Gen-AI tools, such as Instantly.ai, Clay, OpenAI, Sales Navigator, Apollo, HubSpot, and other AI and Gen-AI enrichment platforms, to execute prospecting efforts. These tools enable efficient, targeted outreach and meaningful engagement with high-potential contacts to accelerate lead generation.
The ideal candidate has proven experience in identifying key prospects, executing outbound email, phone and other proactive campaigns, and scheduling initial conversations that lead to qualified opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve pipeline growth objectives.
- Conduct initial outreach to identify key contacts and qualify interest.
- Schedule discovery and product demonstration meetings with pre-qualified audiences.
- Execute and enhance outbound campaigns to drive engagement and nurture inbound inquiries.
- Utilize AI tools to identify, enrich, and prioritize high-potential contacts.
- Analyze and document prospect pain points, aligning them with Feroot's solutions.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, optimizing campaigns for maximum results.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless lead handoff and accelerate growth.
Required Experience/Skills:
We're looking for a hands-on hunter-a tech-savvy, goal-oriented professional with a passion for automation and a strong understanding of sales processes, who is:
- Effective at outbound lead generation;
- Skilled at achieving goals and quotas;
- Equipped with strong communication skills (phone, writing, listening) and the ability to engage with prospects;
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to continuously improve and adapt;
- Capable of analyzing and optimizing sales copy and scripts to increase lead engagement and conversions;
- Knowledgeable about sales processes and organizational structures.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with automation tools, especially those related to AI and Gen-AI (e.g., Clay, OpenAI, Sales Navigator, Apollo, HubSpot).
- Prior experience in tech/SaaS, compliance, or cybersecurity sales.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field or relevant equivalent experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Energetic self-starter, ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
- Have the ability to travel to the United States and Europe if required.
