AWS Senior Developer

Contract Term: 6 months, renewable
Work Location: Toronto, ON. hybrid onsite or remote in Canada

Our client, a global leading IT company, is looking for an AWS Senior Developer.

Summary:
Very strong hands-on AWS Developer with developing and coding experience in AWS (especially Lambda functions with Node.js)

Skills:
1. Strong hands-on development skills (including design, hands-on development, testing unit, performance, load , troubleshooting) using Node.js in AWS Lambda (and optimizing Lambda for performance),
2. Strong hands-on development (and design) using AWS Step Functions, AWS DynamoDB, AWS Aurora (PostgreSQL), AWS API Gateway, AWS S3, AWS SNS, AWS SQS, AWS MSK, AWS CloudWatch, and AWS CloudTrail
3. Strong experience refactoring monoliths & legacy into microservices
4. Must have experience working and solutioning with the team and the client
5. Strong knowledge of AWS architecture, AWS security, AWS networking, AWS VPCs, AWS Security Groups, AWS IAM, AWS ALB, AWS NLB • This is not an architecture role, but candidate must fully understand AWS infrastructure, security, and networking.
6. Pluses (not mandatory): ELK, GenAI, AWS CI/CD, AWS IaC (CDK, CloudFormation), Machine Learning (incl SageMaker), Tibco experience
