We are currently seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and experienced Vice President Marketing to lead the marketing operations for DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Kamloops, while also overseeing and developing regional marketing strategies for our five additional hotel properties in the Kamloops area. This role will report directly to the CEO of the hotel chain. Key Responsibilities: As the Vice President Marketing, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing initiatives for our Kamloops hotel portfolio. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive marketing strategies to promote brand awareness and drive revenue across the six Kamloops hotel properties. Oversee the structure and leadership of the marketing department, including setting departmental goals, managing performance, and fostering team development. Define the marketing budget, allocate resources effectively across regions and initiatives, and monitor performance to ensure optimal return on investment. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities to support geographic and demographic expansion, working closely with senior leadership and business development units. Guide the development of company-wide marketing plans in collaboration with operations, sales, and executive teams to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives. Strengthen our brand presence by building strategic relationships with tourism boards, industry stakeholders, and corporate partners. Supervise brand management activities to ensure consistent identity and messaging across all internal and external communications. Support product and service innovation initiatives by contributing market insights and competitive intelligence. Lead executive-level reporting on marketing performance, industry trends, and emerging growth opportunities. Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and partner engagements to promote long-term business interests. Employment Requirements: Minimum university degree or college diploma. A minimum of 5 years of senior managerial experience in marketing or a related field, ideally within the hospitality or hotel industry. Proven experience in leading marketing teams and managing regional or multi-location marketing strategies. Strong understanding of MS office, digital marketing platforms, CRM tools, analytics, and performance metrics. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset. Ability to manage and lead a diverse team, ensuring collaboration and alignment across departments. Familiarity with branding and marketing within the hotel or travel industry is a strong asset.
