Job Title: Data Insights Analyst

Location: Onsite, Midtown Toronto

Compensation: $120K-140K base + bonus + extensive benefits

Work Type: Full-time, 5 days/week onsite MUST HAVE

We're working with a high-performing investment firm looking to grow their data research capabilities with a Data Insights Analyst. This is an opportunity to join a top-tier team and apply your analytical mindset to support high-impact investment decisions.

What You'll Do:

• Build and deliver high-quality market/data analysis reports to help traders test hypotheses
• Work with large and diverse datasets (e.g., consumer transaction data, survey results, mobile location data)
• Partner closely with researchers, data scientists, and field teams on bespoke data-driven projects
• Assist in developing AI-driven solutions for tasks like text classification and topic extraction

Must-Haves:

• 1-3 years in an Analyst role (data, business, or research focused)
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.6 (this will be asked)
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Highly numeric, detail-oriented, and analytical
• Exposure to investment management, consulting, or private equity
• Experience with surveys, Alteryx, Tableau, or Power BI
• Basic programming in SQL or Python
