Note: This is a three-month unpaid internship for individuals to gain experience in this field. The successful candidate needs to commit 8-10 hours/week.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Ecommerce Product Specialist to manage and optimize our online product catalog. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our product listings are accurate, compelling, and aligned with our brand standards to enhance the customer shopping experience.

Principal Duties

  • Product Data Management: Maintain and update product information, including descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory levels, across all e-commerce platforms.
  • Content Optimization: Develop and refine product content to improve SEO performance and drive higher conversion rates.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure cohesive product strategies and promotions.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct regular market and competitor analyses to identify trends and opportunities for product assortment enhancements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Utilize analytics tools to monitor product performance and implement data-driven improvements.
  • Provide regular communication on product changes, launches, and updates to stakeholders
  • Execute other related tasks as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Write and refine compelling product descriptions and imagery that engage customers and boost conversions. Apply SEO best practices for visibility and performance.
  • Contribute to initiatives like SEO, paid media, and social strategy that support traffic growth and engagement.
  • Monitor performance on WooCommerce; collaborate with the development team to implement fixes and improvements.
  • Partner with customer support and retention teams to ensure listings address common questions and reinforce a positive experience.
  • Track analytics across platforms (WooCommerce, GA4, etc.) to guide content and CRO decisions.
  • Act as a bridge between product, creative, and marketing teams to ensure e-commerce success.

  • Enhance the online shopping experience by providing customers with clear, accurate, and engaging product information.
  • Drive increased traffic and sales through strategic product content optimization.
  • Support the launch of new products by ensuring timely and effective online representation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our e-commerce operations through data analysis and process refinement.

What You'll Bring

  • Degree or Certificate in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of eCommerce merchandising, digital marketing, or CRO (preferably B2B)
  • Strong copywriting skills, with an eye for persuasive, clear, and SEO-friendly language
  • Hands-on experience with WooCommerce and/or Recharge (subscription tools a bonus)
  • Familiarity with PIM systems and digital shelf strategy
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple product SKUs with precision
