US Payroll Specialist (Contract)
Our client is on the search for a US Payroll Specialist (Contract) to join their team! The candidate would be responsible for preparing the payroll for the multi-state operations. If this seems like the perfect role for you, Apply now!
Your success will be defined by your ability to:

Process end-to-end payroll for multi-state US employees on a bi-weekly basis.

Ensure the payroll to union and non-union employees adheres to collective agreements and legal requirements

Ensure accuracy of employee records, timekeeping data, and payroll calculations

Stay current with payroll regulations, industry trends, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and operational excellence.

Collaborate with HR and Finance departments on payroll-related issues

Your strengths include:

3+ years of US payroll processing experience

Timeliness, attention to detail and accuracy are essential

Experience with larger payrolls (ex. 250 employees) is an asset

Proficiency in payroll software systems (e.g., ADP, Ceridian, Workday, or equivalent).

Payroll designation is an asset

Ability to start quickly
