About Us

We're on a mission to revolutionize business automation with cutting-edge AI solutions. Our early-stage startup is building a platform that helps companies streamline operations, gain actionable insights from their data, and work more efficiently-all powered by state-of-the-art language models using agents. Our first tool is Verify; a contracts management application powered by AI. Join a small, agile team where your work has a direct impact on the product's success.

Role Overview

As our AI Engineer, you'll develop the core components that enable advanced document processing, data extraction, and intelligent automation. You'll collaborate closely with our engineering team to ensure we deliver fast, accurate, and intuitive solutions for businesses looking to leverage AI in their day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

  • Model Development: Leverage cutting-edge NLP and LLM technologies (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, LangGraph) to design and implement intelligent agents and multi-step workflows. These systems will power advanced tasks such as document understanding, data extraction, content classification, and summarization.
  • Database Expertise: Strong working knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases, with hands-on experience in data modeling, schema design, and optimizing for performance and scalability.
  • Collaboration & Deployment: Partner closely with backend and DevOps engineers to design seamless data pipelines and ensure smooth, scalable deployment of AI/ML models into production environments.
  • Feature Innovation: Stay updated on the latest NLP/LLM research; propose and implement new ideas to enhance product capabilities.
  • Performance & Quality: Conduct experiments, analyze model performance, and iterate to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product management, front-end, and customer-facing teams to translate complex business needs into AI-powered solutions.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Technical Expertise:

  • Experience building agent-based systems and orchestrating multi-agent logic using frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph. Skilled at creating structured agent workflows, decision graphs, and logic-based coordination for complex tasks. Working understanding of Python and TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of NLP techniques, including transformer architectures and large language models.

Hands-On Experience:

  • Building and deploying AI models in real-world applications.
  • Working with unstructured text data at scale (text preprocessing, embeddings, etc.).
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to turn abstract concepts into functional AI/ML solutions.

Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with business process automation tools or prior experience integrating AI into operational workflows. Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
