Workrise is looking for a Project Control Coordinator for one of our Clients. This role will be based in Edmonton or Calgary. We would love for you to join our team

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Control: Track project expenditures, forecast cost to completion, and manage cost variances.
• Budget Management: Work with project managers to develop and monitor project budgets.
• Scheduling: Support the development and monitoring of detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Reporting: Prepare regular financial and progress reports, including earned value analysis (EVA).
• Risk Management: Identify cost and schedule risks and assist in mitigation planning.
• Change Management: Track changes in scope and assess their impact on cost and schedule.
• Stakeholder Communication: Interface with engineers, procurement, and finance to ensure financial and schedule alignment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma, degree, or equivalent training in construction, operations, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Strong background in cost and scheduling controls for multi-discipline construction projects.
• Industrial construction experience, including exposure to engineering, procurement, contracting, execution, and commissioning phases.
• Basic understanding of pipeline and terminal operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
• Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with Oracle or SAP systems.
• Experience with Power BI and/or EcoSys is a plus.
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management techniques preferred.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, organizational, planning, and leadership abilities.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative, service-focused approach.
