A global trading company from Asia in the downtown Vancouver area is looking for a Bilingual who speaks both Japanese and English fluently to join their Sales Manager / Account Manager.

This position is a temp contract position for 12 months (with potential extension). The company is able to directly hire you after the 12 month period if your work performance and attendance are outstanding. We are looking for someone who speaks both Japanese and English at or above Business level. Also, we do not support any VISA processes at this time. You will be required to have either Canadian citizenship or PR.

Responsibilities for Bilingual (Japanese / English) Sales/ Account Manager:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met effectively.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales through strategic marketing efforts.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage accounts, track sales activities, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and support to clients.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth within the industry.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at improving account management processes and enhancing customer experience.

Qualifications for Bilingual (Japanese / English) Sales/ Account Manager:

  • Proven experience in account management or business development, preferably in a sales environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing client relationships.
  • Ability to analyze data effectively to inform decision-making and strategy development.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and client satisfaction.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong attention to detail.
  • Valid BC Driver license with clean driving record.
  • Owns your own vehicle since you will be required to drive to your clients locations or meeting locations.
  • Must have Canadian citizenship or PR since this position does not support your VISA/immigration.
  • This position is in an office work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
