Our client, a leader in Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a Tooling/Fixture Engineer in their Windsor, Ontario Facility. The Tooling/Fixture Engineer is responsible for supporting new product launches and ECN changes. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a manufacturing or stamping environment, and will have knowledge of materials, machining processes and fabrication techniques. Summary of Responsibilities:

• Fixture Engineer (New Model) will help coordinate and follow-up on New Product Launches and ECN changes
• Quote, Source (with New Model Manager) and tracking of Check Fixtures
• Design and develop Check Fixtures with fixture shop for use in tooling and stamping operations, ensuring they meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to understand product requirements and translate them into fixture designs.
• Work with New Model and production teams to implement fixture designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fixture performance, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal functionality.
• Maintain detailed records of fixture designs, modifications, and testing results.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, toolmakers, and production staff, to ensure seamless integration of fixtures into the manufacturing process.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fixture design, tooling, or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing or stamping environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly stamping operations.
• Knowledge of materials, machining processes, and fabrication techniques.
• Able to read and understand GD&T
• Read and understand CMM Layouts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
