Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and organized Project Manager to assess project coordination, production support, quality control, logistics, and site operations. This role ensures the seamless flow of information and materials through all project phases from preconstruction through to site installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination:
- Manage project milestones and schedules across preconstruction, 3D modeling, production, and installation.
- Organize and lead preconstruction meetings.
- Provide technical feedback to the modeling team regarding framing practices.
- Production Support:
- Assist the Production Manager with sequencing, stacking, and project-specific production details.
- Support drawing approvals and model reviews.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain feedback loops between the production shop, modeling team, and installation crews.
- Document and act on feedback from installation and shop floor teams.
- Drawing & Documentation Oversight:
- Review and distribute foundation packages, install packages, 2D sign-off sets, and shop drawings.
- Develop and manage installation sequence plans.
- Materials & Logistics Coordination:
- Manage material orders, including lumber packages, stocked items, and billet materials.
- Track lead times and inform production management to maintain project schedules.
- Oversee inventory management to drive cost savings.
- Site Operations Interface:
- Coordinate site logistics, including shipping, crane access, and material deliveries.
- Act as the primary liaison with General Contractors for site-related needs.
- General Management Duties:
- Support technical sales and business development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/building science preferred
- Proven experience in operations management within construction, manufacturing, or a related industry.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Technical understanding of framing and modular construction practices is preferred
- Knowledge of construction of construction drawings
- Excellent communication and team coordination abilities
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $70,000 - $90,000/year depending on experience
