Position Overview:

Our client is currently looking for a Personal Insurance Advisor to join our Canmore, AB branch on a Permanent, Full-Time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve ongoing client needs by offering insurance advice, conducting needs assessments, and recommending appropriate solutions
  • Respond to inquiries, conduct care calls, and process renewals
  • Sell new insurance policies to both existing and new clients
  • Retain and grow your existing book of business
  • Generate new business through outbound calls, introductory letters, and walk-in clients
  • Liaise with underwriters and adjusters regarding guidelines and policies
  • Prepare documentation for insurers, complete client applications, issue insurance certificates, process policy changes, and review renewals
  • Stay updated on underwriting rules and internal processes
  • Actively engage in training programs to enhance your skills
  • Participate in community marketing efforts to build the company's presence

What We're Looking For:

  • High School diploma and/or Post-Secondary Education
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience (insurance sales experience is a plus, but not required)
  • Level 1 General license (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Epic software is an asset
  • Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities
  • Ability to pass a criminal background and credit check
