Position Responsibilities
- Identifying opportunities to increase the effectiveness of the transformation process and lead the optimization of these processes.
- Creating, implementing, auditing and coaching on performance improvement programs which impact the daily results and effectiveness of all employees.
- Leading and supporting the completion of detailed continuous improvement plans.
- Leading technical improvement projects.
- Reviewing and making improvements by using performance data such as effectiveness, line stops, quality defects, to maintain a safe environment and eliminate contamination sources.
- Leading regular performance improvement meetings
- Acting as a facilitator in regard to problem solving skills.
- Supporting and leading development activities for autonomous maintenance and other related continuous improvement programs.
- Drive employee engagement, training, and development to maximize manufacturing, quality, safety, and productivity goal attainment.
- Ensure all quality and regulatory standards, specifications, and policies are met or exceeded.
The candidate should have a demonstrated history of the below qualifications:
- 3 - 5 years Manufacturing experience
- 3 - 5 years Management / Supervisory experience
- Food industry experience in a union environment preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, Food Science, Management, Product Operations, or equivalent field of study
- Experience with SAP or other ERP system.
- Technical problem-solving experience
- Team Player / Collaboration / Risk taking / Organization
- Communication written / Oral
- Ability to lead teams and achieve results through resources
