Title: Process Documentation and Workflow Specialist
Tenure: 3-month contract (with the possibility of going full-time)
Location - Vaughan, ON
Pay Rate: $23-$25/hr.
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to help drive operational consistency across our organization by developing and maintaining clear documentation, workflows, and process guidelines. This role is critical in ensuring that tasks are executed uniformly, minimizing errors, and supporting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, manuals, and roadmaps to support various business functions.
Create and manage process workflows using tools such as Microsoft Visio, Excel, or other workflow visualization platforms.
Ensure all documentation is clear, engaging, and easy to understand, tailored to suit various audiences.
Train staff on new and updated processes, ensuring smooth adoption and compliance.
Monitor process performance and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Implement strategies to reduce inefficiencies and eliminate redundancies in existing processes.
Escalate process issues and risks to relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.
Ensure all processes and procedures are aligned with organizational goals and compliance standards.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments to ensure cross-functional alignment.
Stay up to date with new technologies and tools that can enhance documentation and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications:
Fluent in English with excellent writing and communication skills.
Proven experience creating professional documentation using Microsoft Word.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and familiarity with workflow tools such as Microsoft Visio or similar.
Tech-savvy and eager to learn and adapt to new systems and tools.
Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and a drive for process improvement.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
