About Phase Mechanical:

Specializing in design assist mechanical systems, Phase Mechanical tackles many exciting projects, from stunning concrete high rises to luxurious hotels and bustling commercial buildings across Vancouver.

The Role:

As a Plumbing Lead Hand, you'll run a small plumbing crew (3-6 people) from rough-in to trim. You're the go-to on-site, setting priorities, solving day-to-day problems, and keeping work on schedule and to spec. Projects take place across Metro Vancouver, and Phase will make every effort to assign you to sites close to your home whenever possible.

Key Duties:

• Crew Leadership: Assign tasks, mentor apprentices/journeymen, enforce quality
• Install & Test: Plumbing systems, tie-ins to HVAC/refrigeration
• Blueprint Review: Read plans, verify code compliance (BCPC)
• Coordination: Manage materials, liaise with Project Managers, Sub Trades and Inspectors.
• Safety Oversight: Lead toolbox talks, enforce site safety, log progress

What You Bring:

• Red Seal or BC Journeyman ticket in Plumbing
• 3+ years' field experience leading small crews
• Strong blueprint literacy & troubleshooting skills
• Clear, direct communication style
• Organized, reliable, comfortable with digital reporting tools
