The Opportunity

ML6 is proud to support one of their amazing clients, in their search for a skilled Technical Support Specialist - HVAC Systems to join their Oakville team. This is a specialized role ideal for someone with a strong HVAC technical background and a customer-first mindset. You'll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting, warranty processing, and technical support, playing a key role in customer satisfaction and vendor relationships.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing phone and email support to diagnose and resolve HVAC and RV appliance issues
  • Partnering with vendors to verify warranties, resolve technical problems, and order parts
  • Delivering technical training sessions to internal staff and customers
  • Processing and tracking warranty claims using internal systems and vendor-specific tools
  • Guiding customers through warranty policies and claim procedures
  • Troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying returned equipment as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely warranty submissions
  • Keeping the repair and tool area clean, organized, and functional

What You'll Need To Be Successful

  • Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal
  • 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, technical support, or a wholesale parts counter environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to service and follow-through
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
