Sales Manager - Racking Solutions
Location: Toronto, Canada / Remote (North America)
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join a growing team in the racking solutions sector. This role focuses on driving sales and managing relationships within the warehouse automation market, specifically for pallet racking and shelving solutions. You will be responsible for managing both new business development and existing client relationships, with the goal of significantly increasing market share. The position offers flexibility with remote work options and requires occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies, focusing on both new business and the growth of existing accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and integrators.
- Oversee the sales process from prospecting through to deal closure, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.
- Utilise CRM systems for tracking sales progress, managing leads, and forecasting sales.
- Monitor and report on sales performance to senior leadership, ensuring sales targets are consistently met and exceeded.
- Travel as required to meet clients and expand business in North America.
- Achieve $2M in sales in the first 12 months, with plans for continued growth.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: 3+ years in sales within the racking, material handling, or warehouse automation sectors.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Background: Proven track record in sales, particularly in managing dealer networks and driving business growth.
- Languages: Fluent in English.
- Previous Roles: Sales Manager, Account Manager, or Business Development Manager.
- Personality: Self-motivated, with a strong drive to succeed and an ability to build strong client relationships.
- Key Skills: Strong sales acumen, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
