Primary Purpose:
Builds market position by locating, enhancing, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships and partnerships focused on residential new construction/remodeling and commercial projects. Develop business strategies, educating customers, and networking with Architects, Designers and Developers so that they can make profitable sales in the future.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Geography includes Quebec, Canada.
• Support all activities related to creating demand generation and achieving sales targets.
• Development of business plans and SGI's (strategic growth initiatives) as directed by management team and in collaboration with local Sales agency
• Development of training programs as directed by management team
• Identify project activity at the design firm and developer level early in the design process.
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
• Perform all tasks requested by management.
• Drive project specifications through Architect, Design firms & Developers and manage the project until the order is received.
• Create and deliver presentations that further introduce Duravit products and project experience to the architect and design firms throughout the territory.
• Create and deliver presentations for Continuing Education Credits (CEU's)
• Execute trainings with sales agency, showroom associates.
• Represent Duravit at various industry related trade shows and events.
• Key account residential service contractors, mechanical plumbing contractors, plumbing engineers, builders, remodelers, developers, architect, and design firms
• Performs competitor and market analysis.
• Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities & recommending development opportunity.
• Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners, 'down-stream' participants, decision holders and owners with express intent to build pull-through sales for wholesale account base; discovering and exploring new relationships & sales opportunities as well as developing a culture of commercial relationship selling from specifications to purchase with all points in between.
• Maintains and develops organizational culture, values, and reputation in its markets and with staff, customers, suppliers, partners, and regulatory/ official bodies.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Follow those procedures and protocol established by the Company as released and modified by the company from time to time.
• Ensure that the quality, maintenance and placement of all Product displays and literature in the territory meets the standards as set by the company and shall follow those procedures established by the Company in good faith, from time to time, in connection with providing regular, scheduled visits to the Customer.
• Provide the Company with regular and reasonable updates regarding efforts and activities in the territory.
• Respond in a prompt manner to all requests by the company for additional information.
Job Specifications:
• Bachelor's degree; or seven to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
