We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Officer to play a pivotal role in elevating our customer experience and optimizing our operational efficiency. This full time, in-person, multifaceted position encompasses the management of key business areas, including customer service, shipping and receiving, marketing support, and inventory management. The ideal candidate is based in Toronto and will be a self-starter with a passion for delivering outstanding service and contributing to a dynamic and growing business.
Skills, Proficiencies & Requirements
Customer Service Excellence
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and issues, providing prompt, professional, and effective resolutions to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Accurately process customer orders and provide comprehensive product information.
- Proactively engage with customers post-purchase to gather valuable feedback and identify opportunities for service improvement.
Shipping and Receiving
- Prepare products meticulously for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
- Efficiently process and organize incoming stock, verifying quantities and condition.
- Maintain organized shipping and receiving documentation and manage shipping schedules.
- Liaise with suppliers and logistics partners to coordinate timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Marketing Support
- Collaborate in the development and execution of marketing strategies by assisting in looking at data, creating assets and all other duties as assigned to support the marketing team.
- Provide support in the planning and execution of promotional events and initiatives.
Strategic Inventory Management
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control processes, including regular stock checks and cycle counts.
- Accurately update and manage inventory records in our systems.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely restocking of supplies and introduction of new products.
