In anticipation of a project that will commence in the summer of 2025, I am seeking candidates for the role of Tunnel Design Manager.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Tunnel Design Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and coordination of all aspects of tunnel projects, including managing the design, coordination, and preparation of submittals related to tunnel and shaft components. This role involves coordinating the interface with clients, governmental authorities, and key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with technical and quality requirements set out in the specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and coordinate all aspects of tunnel projects.
• Manage the design, coordination, and preparation of submittals related to tunnel and shaft components.
• Coordinate the interface with clients, governmental authorities, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements set out in the specifications.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in tunnel and shaft design engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in managing multidisciplinary design for significant tunnel projects of similar type and financial magnitude.
• Experience with precast concrete tunnel lining design, shaft design, and TBM tunnelling.
• P.Eng designation.
