Job Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our skilled trades team during the NIGHT shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM). This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability through effective preventive maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with a solid background in maintenance supervision and a proven ability to drive performance, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance trades personnel on the afternoon shift.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members while promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
• Oversee daily maintenance operations including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure timely completion of work orders and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams to support operational goals.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements to increase reliability and efficiency.
• Support and enforce compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• College diploma or university degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial).
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.
• Experience in a unionized site
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting, and equipment repair.
• Experience leading and managing skilled trades and maintenance technicians.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
