The Position:

We have an exciting opportunity for a National Account Manager in our Beauty & Home division.

The National Account Manager develops and maintains strong working relationships for a group of national accounts to drive sales and growth for assigned brands and product lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a group of national accounts in the retail sector through building/maintaining strong relationships, effective planning, and identifying opportunities for new sales and growth
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets
  • Grow business through strategic account management.
  • Explore and target new business opportunities
  • Manage customer trade spend with the goal of maximizing return on investment.
  • Prepare and present reports that track progress against business objectives.
  • Create, present, and manage the execution of promotional programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of executed plans/programs.
  • Track and measure account POS to ensure successful program sell through.
  • Forecast SKU level product requirements.
  • Achieve budgeted goals set by management.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments and divisions to ensure commitments to customers are met and resolve issues as they arise
  • Attend trade shows as required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree / College Diploma, preferably in Business or Marketing
  • 7 - 10 years experience in a senior sales role managing national accounts (retail industry)
  • High degree of commitment to relationship building and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to c ollaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service
  • Ability to work independently within a team environment
  • Strong time management skills, sense of urgency, and excellent follow-through on projects/programs/tasks
  • Outstanding analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Strategic thinker and able to develop long term-plans for retailers, channels, and products
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of e-commerce
  • Results oriented and focused on achieving sales targets and KPI's
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
  • Knowledge of SAP an asset
