Benshaw Canada Controls Inc., located in Listowel, Ontario is seeking an experienced and driven Medium Voltage Switchgear Product Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of medium voltage switchgear products, along with a proven track record in product management, strategic planning, and market analysis. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and success of our medium voltage switchgear product portfolio from concept to market.

What will you do?

• Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap for medium voltage switchgear products
• Establish and champion the Medium Voltage Switchgear Centre of Excellence at Benshaw Canada
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely product development and launch
• Define product requirements based on customer feedback, market trends, and competitive analysis
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive positioning, and industry trends
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to create product messaging, go-to-market strategies, and promotional materials
• Oversee the product lifecycle, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with market demands
• Provide training and technical support to internal teams and customer
• Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction, implementing adjustments as needed

Travel Requirements:

• Travel to customer sites and Benshaw Group locations is required (up to 10% annually)

You will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or related field experience
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Product Management (CPM)
• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the electrical or power distribution industry
• Strong technical background in medium voltage switchgear products (such as circuit breakers, variable frequency drive, soft starter, etc.
• Proven ability to translate customer needs into actionable product development plans
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitor landscape, and customer preferences
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with product lifecycle management tools and software

The following qualifications would be considered an asset but are not required:

• Experience with global markets and cross-cultural teams
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to medium voltage switchgear
