Sales Engineer at Fintech
3 days a week in the office (downtown Toronto)
$150-170K base with 15-20% bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Become the expert on our emerging Digital Wallet product ecosystem
- Deliver client training, product education, use case demonstrations, and sales support to help clients showcase our solutions to their end users
- Utilize customer relationship management tools to gather and communicate client feedback to product teams and advocate for improvements
- Analyze client product usage to identify new opportunities that address their business needs
- Lead the solution design phase by proposing cross-product (payments and verification) implementations that solve client challenges
- Communicate clear and compelling value propositions that position our products favorably against competitors
- Participate in discovery sessions with Product Owners to identify opportunities and develop solution proposals including presentations and demonstrations
- Provide comprehensive pre-sales and post-integration consultation to ensure solutions meet client requirements
- Work with stakeholders to define, document, and implement partner integration solutions
- Support multiple partner integration projects as a subject matter expert to ensure continuity throughout the client journey
- Represent customer perspectives to product and marketing teams
- Monitor and report on pipeline opportunities using CRM tools
- Ensure partner interfaces meet both business and technical requirements
- Stay current on industry trends, technological advancements, regulations, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats
- Maintain relationships with business, product, and technical stakeholders to resolve escalated issues
- Support proof of concepts, technical trials and provide constructive feedback
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in the payment technology space or as a Solutions Engineer with technical consulting/support capabilities
- Eligibility to work in Canada in a full-time capacity
- Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, or a related field
- Previous experience in the digital payments industry is highly valued
- Thorough understanding of Digital Wallets and In-App Payment technologies
- Outstanding presentation and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Skilled at working with cross-functional teams, building relationships, and fostering collaboration
- Strong communication skills to convey complex information clearly and impactfully
- Proven record of driving continuous improvement initiatives
