Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, affidavits, motions, conference briefs, and other documents as required.
- Ability to work on a variety of challenging, sophisticated and diverse litigation and L&E cases.
- The successful candidate would primarily be working with C Suite executives, requiring assistance with compensation and employee packages.
- The firm requires a lower billable hour target than comparable firms.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in litigation, with a deeper understanding of employment law and some file management experience.
- Their ideal candidate is someone who is great with clients, entrepreneurial and a quick learner.
- Be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and drafting skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
