Job Title: Senior Manager, Digital Governance

The Senior Manager, Digital Governance will focus on providing technical expertise to plan, develop, strengthen, and scale governance frameworks related to technology, regulatory, compliance and digital transformation. By collaborating cross-functionally, you'll help define and lead the execution of strategies to that increase operational efficiency and effect cost savings through standardization of workflow patterns and risk reduction. This role is hybrid and will require you to be in office 3 days each week - subject to change.
What will you do?
- Provide technical expertise in digital governance on the development and implementation of policies related to digital marketing platforms, regulatory compliance, technology, data, and digital transformation.
- Establish clear operating rules, accountability, roles, and decision-making authority for digital presence to ensure efficient and ethical digital operations.
- Partner with digital marketing, regulatory, digital accessibility and other teams to ensure the framework components and experiences are compliant with accessibility, regulatory and data governance requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies on forums to provide guidance, quarterly audits, digital content and asset lifecycle best practices, documentation and compliance tracking that serve to strengthen regulatory frameworks for digital governance.
- Monitor regulatory trends and emerging technologies to anticipate governance needs and advise on policy solutions.
What do you need to succeed?
- 5-10 years of experience establishing governance frameworks in a digital marketing, acquisition, growth marketing, and/or data driven role.
- Proven expertise in ensuring compliance with legal, privacy, and regulatory standards in digital environments
- Strong skills in documentation and communication, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to a variety of stakeholders
- Experience with establishing governance frameworks in digital transformation projects
- Familiarity with domain management and digital design systems
- Proficiency in using and managing various Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, Drupal, or Adobe Experience Manager.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and analytics platforms including CMS, DXP, GA4, QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI (or similar)
- Knowledge of HTML is required
- Business process engineering experience is an asset
- Working knowledge of French is an asset. Fluency is not required.
