JOB STATEMENT:

We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Portfolio Administrator to provide operational support to the Private Client team and exceptional client service in the Vancouver office. The successful candidate will work closely with a Portfolio Manager, providing accurate, timely information and service support. This position will appeal to someone who is passionate about client service, zealous in their pursuit of operational efficiency, and comfortable working in a team-based environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure a positive and professional client experience
  • Lead and execute the account onboarding, closing, and transfer process, while adhering to compliance requirements
  • Understand GCA investment products and services
  • Carry out transactional requests and coordinate cash settlements, as needed
  • Investigate and resolve all client inquiries
  • Respond to client, referral advisor, and custodian requests
  • Maintain client contact details and important documentation in CRM database (Salesforce)
  • Work closely with internal operational teams to resolve issues and respond to client requests
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects, including client events

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree, preferably in business, finance, or economics
  • 2-5 years of office administrative experience
  • 2-5 years of experience working in the investment or financial services industry
  • Completion (or current enrollment) in the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Advanced level of proficiency in: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is an asset

SCHEDULE:

  • Monday to Friday

LOCATION:

  • In person (4 days in office, 1 day remote)

COMPENSATION:

  • Commensurate with experience
