Job Title: Stationary/Operating Engineer
Class: 2nd-3rd/Refrigeration A/B
Shift: Night
Rate: $47/hr
Our exclusive client in food manufacturing is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Stationary/Operating Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will hold a 2nd or 3rd class license with a strong background in refrigeration maintenance.
Experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred
What you should have:
- Excellent understanding of the operation and maintenance of boiler.
- Experience monitoring and inspecting building equipment, switches, valves, gauges, alarms, and other instruments to measure temperature, pressure and fuel flow.
- Experience performing water treatment procedure and chemical analysis of boiler water, feed water, condensate water & water softener tank.
- Experience operating and maintaining all refrigeration equipment in the factory including Ammonia & Chiller plants, air handling units, air compressors, steam plant and all related government standards and regulations.
- Good understanding of the safety standards
Mandatory Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification as a 2nd-3rd/Refrigeration A/B Class Operating Engineer.
- Experience with Ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems.
