We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler to join our client Satellite Systems team. You will play a vital role in the assembly of electromechanical products and satellite components, following structured processes while exercising analytical thinking when selecting methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and tin components for assembly.
- Manually assemble through-hole (TH) and surface-mount technology (SMT) components on printed circuit boards.
- Operate and adjust automated inspection and assembly equipment.
- Prepare, handle, and use polymeric products for component bonding.
- Install and integrate cables, modules, flex, and printed circuit boards.
- Inspect, check, and validate the compliance of tasks performed by colleagues.
- Support research and development activities.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- College diploma or secondary school vocational diploma in electromechanical, mechanical, aeronautical, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in electromechanical assembly.
- Proficiency in reading technical plans.
- Basic understanding of tolerance principles and geometrical dimensions.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards.
- Fine manual dexterity for precise assembly tasks.
- Ability to use production databases and data entry systems.
- Good knowledge of French; basic English is an asset.
