Role: Senior Business Analyst

Locations: Mississauga, ON

Type: Full Time/Permanent/Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

• Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting data to meet business requirements and facilitate development.

• Ability to adopt in a metrics driven environment and good at establishing necessary governance to provide insight to management.

• Supervise a business analytic team supporting one large system or multiple systems with responsibilities including work allocation, budget and planning, performance evaluation, compensation, staffing and other duties as assigned.

• Provide direction and technical leadership on complex, high-impact projects and in all phases of the development and implementation process, ensuring essential procedures are followed.

• Independently conducts analysis and executes tasks that contribute to work streams focusing on broad range of data initiatives including data requirements, issues management, Data Quality rules, lineage and Data Governance.

• Liaising with project/ development teams and providing support during program and project life cycles.

• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Qualifications:

• Experience working as a Business Analyst across banking or financial services technology.

• Experience working with databases, SQL, and BI tools.

• Prior experience in Data focused Projects, Data Management, Data Quality, Data Lineage is a strong plus.

• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to be nimble and adjust priorities as needed.

• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication.

• Proven interpersonal skills with ability to partner and influence across organizational lines.

• Proven ability to use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques.
