Job Title: Salesforce Release Engineer (DevOps + GIT)
Job Location: Ontario, Canada - Toronto
Skills Required
Must have 5 to 7 yrs of good real time project experience in Salesforce release activities
Expertise with branching strategies and version control
Design implement and maintain CICD pipelines for salesforce deployment using tools like Bitbucket Jenkins
Implement security best practices throughout the DevOps pipeline including code reviews access controls and vulnerability scanning
Candidate must be strong in GIT In addition Salesforce apex development which is key for our plans to automate more of our DevOps process
Perform sandbox refresh a list of hundreds of manual tasks in the correct order Work with various teams and keep all stakeholders updated with consistent follow ups and such soft skills are vital for this role
Collaborate with developers to ensure code adheres to quality standards and deployment guidelines
Monitor and troubleshoot issues within the CICD pipeline ensuring seem less and efficient deployments
Manage salesforce sandboxes and production environments including backups refreshes and user access control
Stay up to date with the latest DevOps tools and technologies within salesforce ecosystem
Contribute to the continuous improvements of Salesforce development and deployment processes
Document and maintain comprehensive CICD pipeline documentation
Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams including developer's administrators and product owners
Excellent knowledge in code deployment version conflict resolution
Experience of Coordinating Branching and Merging strategies with development and QA teams
Must have good knowledge in Salesforce administration out of box concepts such Sharing Settings Profiles Permission Sets FLS Roles Record type's User table
Work independently give attention to detail organization and clear communication
Must have good communication skills
