About the Opportunity
A leading full-service firm in Surrey is seeking a family lawyer with 2-5 years of experience to join its growing, close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level associate seeking high-calibre work in a firm that prioritizes collaboration, mentorship, and sustainable growth.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll manage your own caseload and work closely with a senior partner on complex, high-value matters. Files typically involve:
- High-net-worth and upper-middle-income family disputes
- Business asset division and financial structuring
- Parenting, custody, and support issues
- Multi-layered legal and financial matters
You'll take on meaningful responsibility from the outset, with ongoing support and direct mentorship.
What They're Looking For
- 2-5 years of family law experience
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
- Confidence managing files independently and assisting on complex matters
- Strong advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skills
- Practical, client-focused approach
- Interest in building a long-term practice in the Fraser Valley
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to high-net-worth or business-owner clients
- Mediation or ADR training is an asset

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $115,000 to $155,000 (commensurate with experience)
