We are currently looking for an IAM Project Manager to join one of our major clients, an international bank based in Montreal.

Job Overview:

The IAM Project Manager will lead the deployment and governance of Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives across the Americas region. This role involves coordinating with global teams, defining and implementing IAM processes, and ensuring operational excellence and compliance within a financial services environment. The successful candidate will also contribute to the global IAM strategy and help drive adoption of standardized frameworks across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

IAM Governance & Deployment:

  • Collaborate with Central IT Risk, Cybersecurity, and Regional COO teams to define and deploy a standardized IAM approach (e.g., Business Roles, Toxic Combinations).
  • Oversee the deployment of Business Roles for the Americas scope.
  • Deploy the Target Operating Model and conduct training sessions for end users.
  • Lead governance efforts to monitor operational IAM activities across the region.
  • Organize and participate in operational committee reviews.

Program Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Appoint and monitor local IAM coordinators in collaboration with the IAM Program Director and Global PM.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the global IAM framework, promoting a "one team" delivery model across geographies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of IAM tools, specifically SailPoint.
  • Solid understanding of IAM processes and controls, including provisioning, reconciliation, and recertification.
  • Hands-on experience with IAM deployments in a financial institution environment.
  • Familiarity with security architecture, access policies, and identity lifecycle management.

Project & Business Knowledge:

  • 5-7+ years of project management experience.
  • Experience working in a global delivery model, including onshore/offshore coordination.
  • General knowledge of banking operations and IT ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with banking norms, standards, and application environments is a plus.
  • Experience in change management processes and user training strategies.

  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical topics clearly.

  • Fluent in English; French is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model with 3 days on-site per week in Montreal.
