Job Summary:

As a Project Coordinator, you will provide essential support to the Project Management and Service teams throughout the project execution phase. You'll play a key role in coordinating technical documentation, vendor management, field activities, and communication to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review specifications and technical requirements for major project equipment.
  • Evaluate system designs-including Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Bill of Materials (BOM), and drawings-and assist with the preparation of customer submittals under the direction of the Project Manager.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to design changes, client inquiries, and follow-up requests.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Technical Services to review submittals at critical development stages, address scope changes, and assess value engineering opportunities.
  • Participate in field work, including project execution, equipment troubleshooting, and system start-up support, as needed.
  • Maintain accurate data in the ERP system, specifically related to the Bill of Materials and part procurement.
  • Support vendor management by tracking lead times and mitigating delays in major system components.
  • Coordinate across engineering, purchasing, and production teams to ensure designs and deliveries align with the master project schedule.
  • Facilitate clear and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify potential change orders and manage their implementation in coordination with the Project Manager.
  • Coordinate technical support during system installation, both on-site and remotely, as required.
  • Work with the Service department to schedule system start-up, commissioning, and performance testing in line with project timelines.
  • Manage service-related inventory, including calibration of field equipment.
  • Provide assistance on service-related activities both in-house and in the field as needed.
  • Expedite long-lead equipment orders to maintain project schedules and ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; effective interpersonal abilities.
  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on field experience in Project Coordination, ideally within a construction or industrial environment.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 1-5 days per month within North America.
  • Valid driver's license and passport.
