Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Lead and manage the site team, ensuring smooth operations and effective problem-solving.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met.
- Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any delays, scope changes, or budget discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices on site.
- Manage site documentation, including inspection reports, schedules, and safety logs.
Skills and Experience:
- Construction Expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing construction projects, particularly in residential or commercial sectors, from initiation to completion.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead construction teams effectively, ensuring project goals are met and quality standards are adhered to.
- Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with internal teams, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years in site supervision or construction management roles, ideally in residential or commercial construction.
- Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
