Position Overview:

We are looking for a Site Superintendent with 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site management, safety compliance, and team leadership. This role requires an individual who can effectively coordinate trades, manage schedules, and ensure project quality while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects on-site, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and laborers, ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently.
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Monitor project schedules, progress, and budgets, making necessary adjustments as needed.
• Conduct regular site meetings to discuss project timelines, updates, and safety concerns.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and problem resolution.
• Perform quality control inspections and ensure all work adheres to plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and material inventory.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment by leading and motivating team members.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a Site Superintendent role, specifically in commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, WHMIS, CSTS) are an asset.
