Operating from a modern production facility in Mount Uniacke, Nova Scotia, we proudly serve construction projects across the province. We are looking for a Wall Plant Manager to take ownership of all plant operations, team leadership, and delivery excellence for this exciting line of business.

Key Responsibilities:

This role requires experience in design-build projects and/or a deep understanding of A deep understanding of the steel wall fabrication process for construction is essential, as our primary client is a developer delivering multiple concurrent retirement living projects.

  • Manage day-to-day operations and align production with construction timelines through close collaboration with Project Managers.
  • Oversee product design and programming to ensure alignment with production capabilities, constructability, and quality expectations.
  • Ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve workflow challenges to maintain production efficiency.
  • Oversee procurement and inventory while tracking material use to maintain schedules and minimize costs and waste.
  • Liaise information between plant operations, project teams, and senior leadership.
  • Provide guidance and support to supervisors and team members, resolving issues raised by production staff.
  • Promote a safety-focused culture, accountability, and ongoing improvement.
  • Document and refine core operational processes for scalability and efficiency.

Your experience & abilities

  • 5+ years of leadership in plant, construction, or manufacturing; steel prefabrication or modular experience preferred.
  • Strong grasp of design-build environments and construction workflows.
  • Demonstrates hands-on leadership with a proactive approach to team development and project execution.
  • The ability to zoom out to see the big picture, while rolling up your sleeves to address day-to-day challenges.
  • Business acumen and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels-from floor staff to executives.
  • Financially proficient with proven experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and driving operational profitability.
  • Technologically savvy with a focus on systems that improve efficiency and visibility.
  • Flexible and solutions-driven with a "get it done" attitude.
  • A passion for quality, precision, and delivering on commitments.
