Position: Senior Analyst, Strategy

Location: Toronto, Canada

Job Type: Hybrid, 4 days a week in office

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst to join our client's strategy team to drive strategic and operational initiatives. The ideal candidate will support the divisional strategic planning process, develop targeted strategies, and monitor macroeconomic and competitive trends to inform key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the division's strategic planning process, including both annual and long-term planning cycles.

- Collaborate with business leaders to assess new opportunities and develop capital investment proposals.

- Provide thought leadership through problem-solving, analysis, and workshop facilitation.

- Develop and manage strategic initiatives, project plans, and ensure effective communication across teams.

- Monitor external trends (macroeconomic, competitive, retail/customer) to inform strategy.

- Prepare executive-level presentations and materials for senior management and boards.

- Advocate for a customer-centric approach to all strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of experience in consulting, finance, internal strategy, or professional services.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.

- Strong analytical skills and experience with financial and strategic modeling.

- Skilled in Tableau and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.

- Strong presentation skills and ability to influence and consult with Senior leaders.

- Financial certifications (CPA, CFA, CBV) are a plus but not required.
