Job Summary

The Financial Analyst contributes to preparing financial statements, analyzing variances, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring IFRS compliance. Responsibilities include journal entries, month-end and year-end reports, and ad hoc analysis.

Key Accountabilities:

• Perform financial analysis, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor intercompany transactions and prepare consolidation reports.
• Support budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting for management and the Board.
• Assist in developing budgets and financial plans.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in commerce, business administration, economics, or related field; CPA designation is an asset.

Experience:

• At least 5 years in financial accounting and analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and data manipulation.

Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of IFRS and internal controls.
• Proficiency with accounting software and office applications.

Abilities:

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent work capability.
• Organizational and analytical skills.
