Job Location: Avenue Maple Ridge, British Columbia V4R 2P7 Canada

Job Description:

• Selects mushrooms according to size and ripeness, while discarding rotting and over-ripened produce.
• Sorting and packaging mushrooms, removing the finished product from the production line and pushing batches to the next step of the processing.
• Generate product labeling ensuring accuracy.
• Keeps area clean and debris out of the work area; ensures a safe working environment.
• Operate and maintain machinery for the packaging of mushrooms.
• Unload the packaged products from the conveyor and pack the mushrooms into the final containers by hand.
• Load the filled containers onto trucks.
• Observe and maintain safety levels with particular attention to machinery and electrical equipment.
• Verify that each finished item meets the quality standards of the company & discard any defective item.

Requirements:

• No formal education is required; however, completion of secondary school education is an asset.
• Experience is an asset; however, on-the-job training will be provided.
