Experience working in data management and can provide hands-on support on the implementation according to Data Office playbooks, guidelines, standards, and policies (e.g., documenting initiatives, use cases, data tiering and classification, critical data elements and business data elements)
Performs any necessary data mapping and data lineage activities and documents information flows to support specific business requirements
Performs data profiling, analyzes and communicates results in support of data quality processes
Builds the metadata model and business glossary by gathering information from multiple sources: business users, existing data sources, databases and other relevant documents and systems
Participates in knowledge transfer within the team, business units and provide recommendation opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency of the business unit and/or team
Monitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions
Technical Business Analyst - Data Quality Mapping/Modeling - Mandatory Skills
8+ years of experience working on business analysis processes, frameworks with documenting processes and data flows
3+ years of experience working with data concepts (metadata, data mapping, data quality, data modeling, data governance)
3+ years of experience working with agile project methodology and artifacts, on software/application development lifecycle in an agile fashion
2+ years of experience working with data models, data relationships, mapping lineage and business rules
Demonstrated ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and work well with business partners at different organizational levels
Exceptional leadership skills to review processes and procedures to create efficiencies, eliminate duplication and provide organizational support to achieve business objectives
Strong relationship management with an ability to establish productive relationships between various leaders, departments, and partners across the organization
Solutions-oriented and ability to develop and create innovative solutions to critical business or organizational data issues
Strong analytical skills with amplitude for generating insights through an evidence-based thought process
Sound judgment, learning agility, and a high level of professional and personal integrity
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Strong technical education background, majoring in fields that require a high degree of analytical skills, such as Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, Statistics or related field
