Director of Finance

Barrie, Ontario

110K salary with Benefits and room for advancement

In office role Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm (flex on hours)

Qualified candidates should have experience in Manufacturing industry

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of Accounting Department

Coordinate preparation of budgets, financial reports and forecasts

Create and implement new Accounting policies and procedures

Ensure company compliance with all Government, Corporate and Payroll Taxes

Conduct audits, analyses and review of documentation, reconciliations and statements

Support Senior Management with financial decisions, contract reviews and cost evaluations

Manage cash flow and capital expenditures

Insurance and Risk Management

Maintain healthy relationships with lending institutions

Maintenance of Fiscal reports and Preparation of Year End.

Qualifications

Post Secondary Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance

MBA, CPA or CMA Designation preferred.

7-10 years of experience in Controller, Finance Manager or Director level role

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail

Computer proficiency with MS Office and Accounting Systems
