Job responsibilities
Polishing Expertise:
Utilize polishing wheels and tools to achieve mirror-polished finishes on both brass and stainless steel components.
Maintain a high level of precision to ensure consistency and quality in the polishing process.
Sandblasting and Surface Preparation :
Conduct sandblasting operations on brass and stainless steel parts to prepare them for powder coating applications.
Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices for controlled and efficient sandblasting processes.
Brushing Techniques:
Apply brushing techniques to create distinct brush lines on brass and stainless steel components, enhancing their aesthetic appeal for subsequent PVD processes.
Achieve uniform and visually appealing brush patterns with attention to detail.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished brass and stainless steel parts to ensure they meet specified quality standards and customer requirements.
Identify and address any imperfections or defects in the finishing process.
Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain and clean polishing wheels, sandblasting equipment, and other tools to ensure optimal performance.
Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the manufacturing team to coordinate finishing processes with overall production schedules.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure a seamless workflow
Skills
- Ability to assemble and disassemble parts as needed
- Proficiency in operating cranes for lifting heavy materials
- Knowledge of welding techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with calipers for precise measurements
- Understanding of machining processes and tools
- Strong attention to detail for quality inspection
