Bilingual Financial Service Representative

This is the job for you! We are currently looking for a Bilingual Financial Service Representative for one of our clients in the insurance industry.
What is in it for you:
Hourly salary of $24.43.
12-month contract.
Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
Hybrid work: 3 office days, from Tuesday to Thursday.
Weekday schedule: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities:
Gather and accurately record all customer information necessary to process member transactions in one of the three record-keeping systems.
Manage inbound, outbound, and email databases to provide education to members regarding their retirement products. Handle approximately 50 to 70 calls a day from member-requested callbacks.
Provide accurate and professional customer experiences.
Review GRIP plans, payment schedules, unscheduled payments, and LIF unlocking inquiries.
Address investment management fee inquiries.
Manage the shared inbox and cases assigned to the team.
Spend 4 hours daily on phone calls.
Allocate 3 and a half hours each day for administrative tasks and email correspondence.
Meet productivity and quality objectives set by the department.
What you will need to succeed:
Experience in customer service.
Background in the financial services industry preferred.
Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) (required).
Life License (LLQP) (preferred).
Mutual Fund License (preferred).
Understanding of investment products available to Canadian investors (e.g., RRSP, RRIF) preferred.
Familiarity with segregated funds and experience with group retirement plans preferred.
Positive attitude and high energy.
Active listening skills to understand clients' needs and personal situations.
Eagerness to learn and develop within a dynamic global company, with a willingness to apply new knowledge.
Strong commitment to compliance.
Integrity in placing the client at the forefront of interactions.

Proficiency in gathering, accurately recording, and updating member account changes related to their investments.
Stay current on system processes, updates, and changes.
Proactively share knowledge and best practices to achieve objectives.
