_What you will do:_
The House-person position is an integral position within the housekeeping team as they assist the Housekeeping cleaners with the heavy lifting of items to and from the rooms.
Ensure the cleaning standards set forth by the Villa Eyrie Resort are always adhered to and maintained at all times. Hold team accountable for the work they provide
Ensure all recyclables, garbage and possible hazardous materials are disposed of correctly
Perform daily counts of inventory deliveries and laundry departures to ensure they match billing
Maintain inventory levels and control without overstocking
Assist guests at all times where required
Deliver specialty items and requirements to guest rooms where required
Report any maintenance requirements immediately
Observe, report and document damage of hotel property
Responsible for the safe transport of the cleaning team from each building and delivering items to them when needed that are not located in the building.
_What you will need to be a part of our great team:_
Minimum 1-year prior housekeeping or cleaning experience
Valid BC Driver's License required as there is no public transportation
Full availability to work any shift, statutory holidays, weekends and be on call as needed.
