Bachelor's Degree (University) in Electrical engineering.
Member of Ordre des Ingénieurs du Quebec (OIQ) ;
Good knowledge of generator and turbine electrical auxiliary systems in hydro.
Experience in design of single-line low voltage diagrams, junction boxes, cabinets, instrumentation wiring;
Experience in the selection of instruments for monitoring of industrial equipment;
Good general knowledge of MCCs, control panels and electrical cabinets;
7 - 12 years of relevant experience (after graduation);
Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (C22.1) and US National Electrical Code (ANSI/NFPA 70);
Proactive, sense of urgency, autonomy.
Good communication ability and leadership.
Able to work in a multicultural and global environment;
Good analytical skills;
Team spirit, positive, desire to learn and adapt;
Able to travel (a few short duration travels per year for inspections and follow ups) ;
Fluent in written and spoken French and English;
Allow for preliminary hiring verifications, including but without being limited to, reference verifications.
Must have unrestricted Canadian work authorization
