Job Description:

We are currently seeking for an experienced and dedicated Traffic Control Person to join our diverse team and play a vital role in maintaining safety and efficiency on roadways across Lower Mainland. As Traffic Control Person, you will have the opportunity to contribute of creating safer environment for our workers and community.

Requirement:

BCCSA approved Traffic Control Person certification
A minimum of 1 year of Flagging experience
Ability to effectively communicate with drivers and operators
Motivated to keep traffic smooth and pedestrians safe
General construction site and flagging knowledge
Personal transportation to commute to site
Responsibilities:

Directing drivers, pedestrians, and workers to safe routes around road construction sites
Assist in accessing and exiting work sites and reporting to questions
Assist with set up and maintenance of project signage and barricades including daily barricade reports
Protect workers by keeping work space free of traffic and warning them of approaching hazards
Setting up and providing traffic control specifications
Reviewing traffic management plans
Training other site workers about traffic and equipment safety
Performing other related duties as required.

Salary:

Traffic Control Person: $20.08 to $25.75 per hour (including 9.2% vacation pay, statutory pay and benefits) Salary will be determine based on experience during the in-person interview
